* To increase book awareness and a love for reading at Canby Lane Elementary School, we will
"DRESS AS A BOOK CHARACTER" on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. We would like for all scholars and staff members to participate by choosing your favorite book and dressing as a character from that book.
* To participate, your child should first choose/buy their favorite book. Then, create or purchase a costume to resemble a character from the book (NO MASK ALLOWED). YOUR CHILD MUST BRING THE BOOK TO SCHOOL ON THE DAY THAT THEY WEAR THEIR COSTUME. Put your thinking caps on and be as creative as you can. Remember, the purpose is to increase awareness and show our love for reading.
