During this special livestream event, author Fatimah Basir will read her inspiring book and engage students in a live Q&A discussion that encourages confidence, perseverance, and dreaming big.

• Please follow the assigned times listed on the schedule.
• If students have picture money envelopes, please ensure they bring them and hand them directly to the photographer upon arrival.
• If you have collected picture money from students, please send it with the students so they can turn it in to the photographer.
• SPED teachers: Please escort your students to the cafeteria during their homeroom's scheduled picture time.
• Encourage students to come prepared and dressed appropriately for their portraits.
• Please remind students to keep picture packets and money secure until it is time for their photos.
• Please remind your parents via ClassDojo about Picture Day.
• If you will be absent on Picture Day, please print the attached schedule, place a copy in your substitute binder, and highlight your class's assigned picture time so your substitute can ensure students arrive on time.

• Advising the principal on school priorities and improvement efforts.
• Reviewing and providing input on the school's Continuous School Improvement Plan.
• Serving as a bridge between families, school staff, and the community.
• Promoting open communication, collaboration, and shared decision-making.
• Participating in the selection process for the school principal when vacancies occur.

• The cost to eat is $10.00 per person. Students may participate in the meal with a paid $10.00 meal ticket. Grandparents are welcome to attend whether or not they choose to eat.
• Please remind parents to send the exact amount. Unfortunately, we will not have change available.

• Breakfast will be served during the event.
